Divine Mother
Mother
I come to you each night
Pleading guilty to your heart
Placing mine within yours
You are so merciful
Allowing me to Love you
I blush when you speak my name
Giving me chills when your eyes capture the sunlight
An earthly goddess you are
Because you love me continuously
Mother
I am overwhelmed with your line of thought
Your intelligence
Exceeds natures understanding of companionship
In the beginning
There wasn’t you and I
In the beginning
There was instinct
An instant attraction
With an avenue of open doors
Not knowing where they lead
In the beginning
It was forever
And now its forever and a day
Mother
I am a slave to the currents of completeness
You have given me
Wearing charms of peace around my neck
Listening to the clang
Reminds me of chains worn by slaves
Four hundred years ago into the future
Though at times
I don’t feel worthy of your caress
With my entirety
I am thankful you are my life
Mother
At the blink of an eye
I would give my heart
So you could love again if we pass
You are the fallen angel
That sacrificed all you know
To teach me how to breath
Oh! Indeed
I am loved by you
How could I curse God
Who has given me such a miracle
Mother
My sweet energy of devotion
I am honored by you
And want you to know
You are below no other
But the Divine Mind
